School!!

Even though we had a lot of fun this summer, a routine is always nice.  This year, we continued with some old routines, but started some new routines.  We are extremely blessed to have Stanley's preschool that he has been going to since he was 3...he has been able to get some extra help and is doing so well!  We are so proud of him!
Here Clara and Stanley are on Stanley's first day of school
 Love this boy!!

Clara started going to a little day school at First Baptist twice a week.  We didn't get Stanley in anything with other children until age 3, and had some difficulties socially with him, so we (as most people do!) probably are correcting that by making some decisions about how we wanted to do things with Clara.  Although she's a little younger, I think it's great timing for her to continue to be around other children learning social skills etc.  Being far away from family (although we have friends who are willing to help!), it's turning out to be a good time for Mommy to run errands or meet with friends and have some down time...so here's sweet Clara on her first day of day school at First Baptist...where her teachers already love her hugs, snuggles, and waves!  They say she's doing great with the other children and following directions!  We pray (and ultimately know) that this is a good decision for her!
Stanley was already at his school, and Daddy was already at work so we had to get a picture together inside before leaving the first day, just as cute I guess!:)

That's it about school, the year is starting off good and the routine is great for all of us!!  Mama is a better mama with a break and a routine like this, it's working out great so far!

As always thanks for stopping, I think I am going for one more post of some pics one of our friends (and interns from our church this summer) took of our family...she does a great job, just natural and real.  We really appreciate her taking pics of us, thanks Kate!!

Love,
Kendra
