Our Little Fishy-s!

This year, both of the kids enjoyed taking swim lessons from Miss Mimi and her daughter, Miss Maggie.  It was nice because they took their 30 minute lesson everyday this week at the same time.
I'm pretty sure it was the favorite part of their summer!  I'm pretty sure Clara thinks I just took her to swim for fun with Miss Mimi everyday.  Let me tell you!  We have little fish in our family!!  Stanley started out a little more timid than he did last summer, but it didn't take long for him to find his skills again!!  Now, my 2 year old little Miss Clara is very brave, very adventurous, and has no fear!--which has it's pros and cons in water!!  She loves the water!!

Here she is taking a ride from the diving board to the ladder with Miss Mimi...

Mr. Stanley getting out of the pool after jumping off the diving board...

He could not wait to jump off the diving board, he talked Miss Maggie into it just a few days in.:)

Little Miss Clara, she has to be big girl like her brother is a big boy...and no fear, jumping in off the diving board...pretty sure, Miss Mimi was doing more coaching with mommy during this part than
with Clara...

She jumps in bottom first, it's too funny, and her little body finds her way
to the top.  Of course, mommy needs to help her then, but then even after
she takes a ride on Miss Mimi, she wanted to swim to the ladder once she was
close enough...she has to do everything her Big Brother is doing!!

Clara did a lot of swimming between Miss Mimi and Mommy.  She would swim to me, turn around, and say "Mimi!"  Then, she would swim to Mimi, turn around, and say, "Mama!"  By the end of the week, she liked to be with Miss Mimi the most.  Miss Mimi and Miss Maggie are so good with our kiddos!!

Just had to put in one more pic of Clara jumping off the side of the pool...bottom first! :)
No fear at all!  PURE JOY!

Swimming with the noodle to get used to kicking his legs...

And, there you have it, I was so tempted to add another week in July since the kids have so much fun with it, but have decided against, since we have friends with pools here and plans to be swimming with family to keep their skills up.  It's been a good full week of swimming...they loved every minute, especially the popsicles they got afterwards, too!!

As always, thanks for stopping!

Love,
Kendra :)
